Hi folks ,
On going arnd the city in a volvo in such a fast moving(lol) traffic in chennai is really great ...All these were once when first the volvo were introduced in the city ..
But what is the present situation of those buses really damn bad in maintenance
MTC Volvo(When introduced)
The buses have many passenger friendly features including
- Tilting the bus on left or right side and increasing the height of the bus according to the requirements. (volvos need this to run on our roads :( )
- The suspension would also ensure jerk-free travel for commuters
- Physically-challenged and elders can board the buses with their wheel chairs.
- provision for wheel chairs to be fastened with the seats.
- LED scrolling boards will also be in place in the front, rear and sides of the vehicle for route information.
- Automatic doors in the front and rear with sensors, provision for laptop connection and mobile phone charger, channel music system and public announcement (PA) system to give information to passengers will be the other attractions.
But what is the condition of these WORLD CLASS buses ..
Only our people can break down such a bus within a year it is bought (a bus named for its creditability and durability ...)
Now the glass panels are broken and that they have been covered with packing tapes (is this meant for a VOLVO ...OMG [:(])...and the driver at times keep their windows open ...
One fine day when i was traveling in the car ...there was a very big buzzing sound ..we started fearing its from our car when we were about to stop the car , so we tried lowering the window shield and found at the reason ...ha it was a volvo behind us which crossed us .....Where in the world does a volvo make such a noise ....
Its not a property we own we should maintain it...Though our government has provided the people with such a comfortable travel , is it not the work of the concerned authorities to take care and maintain the product ???????? Who is responsible ? Our people will only point fingers......
Will the concerned authorities maintain the world class VOLVO buses??????
